Five regular decks of 52 playing cards are used for playing Multi-hand Classic Blackjack Gold. All cards are shuffled before the start of each game.
Once the player has decided on how many hands to play and what to wager on each hand and places the wager the game starts with the dealing of the cards. Each hand that was wagered on will receive two cards from the dealer.
